I’m in love with you, and I’m not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things. I’m in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we’re all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we’ll ever have, and I am in love with you.

You would know that you still care when you have convince yourself that you don’t

I am letting you go now. I’m sure you never knew, and you probably never will, that I placed our ephemeral love too deep within my heart. That tiny spec of space I allotted for you was tucked too far away that I had no way to find it back and let you go. But now, I’m sure that this is it. I have found where I hid you. I have opened my heart out for the world to see just so I can track you back. I will always remember you and wonder why.

What did my heart do, with its love?
